Join us at the iconic Plaza Cinema, Waterloo, on Thursday 10th December for a very special 'In Conversation' evening with acclaimed Liverpool-born actor James Nelson-Joyce, star of BBC drama This City Is Ours!

Born and bred in Liverpool, James will take us behind the scenes of his acting career, share fascinating insights into life on screen and talk about what it means to be part of a drama celebrating his home city.

From his childhood dream of playing for Liverpool FC to his ambition to portray Irish football legend George Best, there’ll be plenty of stories to discover. And with the media frenzy surrounding who might be the next James Bond, who knows what James might have to say!

An evening with a very special purpose

This event is also in support of St Joseph’s Hospice, Thornton, where James’ beloved grandad Ronnie sadly passed away. James and his family remain incredibly grateful for the love, compassion and care they received from the hospice team.

Donations on the evening will help St Joseph’s continue its vital work providing palliative and end-of-life care to patients and families across Merseyside.
