Light up a Life
This year, there are more ways to get involved with Light up a Life, and celebrate the life of a loved one.
Light up a Life at the hospice (outdoor service):
We have moved our annual outdoor Light up a Life service in the hospice grounds to a Thursday evening, as we know a lot of people prefer to stay at home on a cold, dark Sunday night.
This year, Light up a Life will take place from 4.30pm on Thursday 4th December, with our service taking place 6pm. Come and join us for refreshments and entertainment prior to the service.
Church service (indoor service):
We have also introduced a Light up a Life church service, which will take place at St. Peter’s and Paul’s Church in Crosby at 2pm on Wednesday 10th December.
This will be perfect for anyone who doesn’t want to take part in our outdoor service at the hospice, or who would prefer to attend a daytime event.
Virtual Christmas Tree:
If you cannot join us for one of our services, this year you can make a dedication online and light up our virtual Christmas tree.
We understand that not everyone is able to attend our services in person. That’s why we’re excited to introduce a new way for you to show your support, from anywhere.
Our Online Dedication Page allows you to make a donation and leave a personal message of dedication. These messages can be shared with friends and family across the country — and even further afield — helping to spread support and encouragement far and wide.
