At St Joseph’s Hospice we feel it is a privilege to have the opportunity to look after patients and families at the end of their lives. We are now looking for a Catering Manager who will effectively manage the catering team in order to plan, prepare, cook and serve food to the highest standard to its patients and staff. This is a ‘hands on’ cooking role and you’ll have daily interactions with patients, visitors and colleagues. The catering operation runs 7 days a week, 8am-6pm.
About St Joseph’s Hospice
The hospice has 31 patient rooms, split across 3 units, providing high quality end of life care. Our nurse-led service helps create a home from home environment for our patients and provides ongoing support to their families.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Chef with experience managing staff in a Catering environment. Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a healthcare environment preparing meals for patients with complex needs.
