St. Joseph’s Hospice will open up its beautiful hospice gardens to the local community on Saturday 7th July for its annual Garden Party and famous Teddy Bears Picnic.
To make the event a great success, and raise lots of money for the hospice, they need your help. The fundraising team is asking for donations of any of the following things…can you help?
- Teddies for the Teddy Tombola
- New, unopened bottles for the Bottle Tombola (anything in a bottle e.g. wine, bubble bath or juice)
- Prosecco for our Prosecco Tent
- Any new unopened gift sets
- New unopened toys
- Gift bags for the Grab a Bag stall
There are also a number of spaces available for stall holders to sell goods and products at this year’s Garden Party. If you make or sell tasty treats or crafts then book your stall fast as its first come, first served! There is a small donation of £25 per stall and public liability insurance will be required.
Julie McAdam, Senior Community Fundraiser, said: “Last year’s Garden Party was a fantastic success with so many people coming along with their families, picnics and teddies to support us and this year we want to want to make it even better. By donating goods for us to use at the event, it keeps our costs right down and means we can put more of the money we raise on the day towards caring for our patients so we hope you can help us.”
If you have anything to donate, please drop it off at the hospice in Thornton or at any St. Joseph’s Hospice shop across Merseyside.
