Volunteer Vacancies

Volunteers support hospice staff in a wide range of roles both at the hospice - such as receptionists, gardeners, patient buddies, administrators and ward clerks - as well as out in the community - fundraising and working in our charity shops.

We currently have volunteer vacancies in the following areas:

Clinical Stock Volunteers (hospice based)

We urgently need a clinical stock volunteer to support the clinical team to carry out an initial stock audit, organise and deliver on-site stock to the wards, and ensure on-site stock is kept tidy and stock rotation system is in place.

This role is perfect for anyone with excellent organisation skills, good IT skills, can work well independently and as part of a team, and are able to follow agreed policies and procedures, including Covid 19 safety measures. Find out more here.

Shop Volunteers

We are currently looking for shop volunteers in our Breck Rd, County Road, Formby, Netherton and Walton Vale shops. We have a variety of different roles available to suit your experience and availability. Find out more here.

Community Heroes Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers to support the fundraising team to raise funds and awareness in your local community. Find out more here.

Volunteer Van Assistants

We are currently looking for one or two volunteers to assist in the day to day running of our charity shops by collecting and delivering furniture and stock. Find out more.
