Jospice coffee partnership launched

St. Joseph’s Hospice, or ‘Jospice’, and Crosby Coffee have joined forces to launch a special Guatemalan coffee, for which 30 per cent of all sales will be donated to the Hospice.

A second coffee from Honduras will also be introduced in the coming months.

The two South American countries are very close to the Hospice’s heart as Jospice International supports hospices in both Guatemala and Honduras and all funds donated from the sale of the coffee will go directly to support Jospice International’s work in these countries.

Jack Foster, the founder of the Crosby Coffee, said: “We are absolutely thrilled about our new partnership with Jospice, a charity in our local community that does so much more than most people think. The money raised from the sale of our Guatemalan coffee will go to Jospice to support the adults and orphans in the country it originates from.

“The vital work carried out by Jospice to improve the health and welfare of the community will have a direct impact on the region, securing a lasting relationship between both countries coffee farms and the world’s coffee roasters.”

Mike Parr, Chief Executive of Jospice, said: “This is a fantastic partnership because it will support local coffee growers as well as patients and families at our San Jose Hospice in Guatemala and, eventually, our San Pedro Hospice in Honduras, forming an even stronger bond between these communities and our own.”
