It is with great sadness that we have to announce that our Spring Ladies Day event has been cancelled.
As the week has progressed, we have been working closely with Formby Hall to determine if and how we can run this event. But in order to fully comply with and support the Government’s efforts to get the spread of coronavirus under control, we believe that it is vital that we do everything we possibly can to reduce social contact and protect the most vulnerable in our community.
As a charity, the hospice wholeheartedly relies on events like our Ladies Days to fund the end of life care we provide to our patients and the support and compassion we offer to their loved ones.
This unprecedented and challenging time is going to be difficult for everyone but we are asking our supporters to continue helping the hospice, in whatever way they can, through this period.
We have an easy facility to donate online through Just Giving and we have launched a brand new initiative to get people moving while they are isolating at home called Extra Mile. We will also be working hard on some new and innovative ways that you will be able to support the hospice over the next few months. We will reveal these as soon as we can.
