Light up a Life
Come and join us at our annual Light up a Life Christmas services and dedicate a light to remember your loved one.
This year, there are more ways to get involved with Light up a Life, and celebrate the life of a loved one.
We also have three special Light up a Life Christmas gifts available this year, for a small donation to the hospice.
Light up a Life events 2025
Hospice service (outdoor)
This year, Light up a Life will take place from 4.30pm on Thursday 4th December, with our service taking place 6pm. Come and join us for refreshments and entertainment prior to the service.
Church service (indoor)
We have also introduced a Light up a Life church service, which will take place at St. Peter’s and Paul’s Church in Crosby at 2pm on Wednesday 10th December.
This will be perfect for anyone who doesn’t want to take part in our outdoor service at the hospice, or who would prefer to attend a daytime event.
Virtual Christmas Tree:
If you cannot join us for one of our services, you can make a dedication online and light up our virtual Christmas tree.
Our online dedication page allows you to make a donation and leave a personal message of dedication. These messages can be shared with friends and family across the country — and even further afield — helping to spread support and encouragement far and wide.
All the names of those being remembered will be listed in our beautiful Books of Remembrance at the switch on events and throughout the whole of December. We will also create a digital Book of Remembrance that can be viewed on our website from 15th December.
