Christmas Tree Collections

Our team of volunteers will be out collecting and recycling real Christmas trees in January 2026 - all your donations will help to fund hospice care for our patients.

From 17th January 2026, our team of volunteers will be collecting real Christmas trees from across Merseyside (postcode areas: L9, L10, L20, L21, L22, L23, L30, L31, L37, L38).

You can also drop off your real Christmas tree at St. Joseph's Hospice, Ince Road, Thornton (L23 4UE) on 17th and 18th January 2026.

This is a fundraising activity and all donations will go towards providing end of life hospice care for our patients in Thornton.

Booking will open in November 2025.

For more information, or to volunteer, please contact fundraising@stjhospice.org.uk or call 0151 932 6044.

Can you help us? Do you own a van?

We will be collecting trees from a large area and so we are appealing to anyone with their own van who would like to volunteer for a few hours over the weekend of 17th & 18th January 2026. We will provide hot drinks and bacon rolls to keep you going. Or, could you donate a van for our volunteers to use?
