Please note: You can take part in our Dedicate a Song summer remembrance activity from the comfort of your own home at your own convenience throughout the summer.
"If music be the food of love...play on!"
We can't hold our summer remembrance event this year but we won't let that stop us from remembering and celebrating the lives of our loved ones.
Music is intrinsically connected to our emotions and triggers many memories, which is why our summer remembrance event this year is all about music.
We're going to compile a very special St. Joseph's Hospice 2020 playlist on Spotify and we want our patients and families, our communities and supporters and our staff and volunteers all to be a part of it by dedicating a song to a special person or loved one.
Get your old records out, spend a night reminiscing on iTunes or chat to friends and family about the special song you would like to dedicate to remember or celebrate the life of someone special.
- To dedicate a song, please make a donation by visitng our summer events page on Just Giving All donations will be very gratefully received and will help us to replace some of the income we have lost during the Coronavirus pandemic.
- Then, email your song choice to fundraising@jospice.org.uk, along with your contact details, who you're dedicating it to and why and we'll add it to the playlist.
- The final playlist will be made available for people to download on Spotify. Everyone who dedicated a song to the playlist will receive a link to the final playlist.
